Micromax launches dual-core Bolt A61 3G smartphone for Rs 4,999
The Bolt A61 was spotted on the Micromax’s official site last weekbut there was no word on the pricing or availability. The company has now officially launched the budget device for Rs 4,999.
The Micromax Bolt A61 is a dual-SIM phone (GSM+GSM) with dual standby support. Going by the specs–and price–it is clearly an entry-level device. Sporting a 4-inch display, it is powered by a 1GHz Spreadtrum SC7710 processor coupled with mere 256MB RAM. The Bolt A61 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Last week, we’ve seen a various budget handsets from phone makers like iBall, Karbonnand BSNL. Most of these phones were priced under Rs 7,000 and aim to bring Internet access to budget smartphone users. BSNL has even bundled in free minutes and 3G to attract users.
