BROWN ON IP

The Pre-budget Report is ongoing, but Gordon Brown (right) appears to have said his bit on IP.

As well as some guff on making money from the UK's 'ideas' (hm, says the IPKat), Brown mentioned 3 things:

1. Stronger enforcement
2. A private copying exception
3. Fast-track trade marks for small businesses

The IPKat says that point 3 is a bit of a surprise.
