Angiotech again

Further to the very recent posting on Angiotech's failed attempt to rescue its EP(UK) patent at the Court of Appeal, the IPKat's friend Richard Evans (whose ear must be close to the IP grindstone, if one will permit such mixed metaphors) notes that Angiotech have now succeeded in enforcing their EP(NL) version of the patent against Conor Medsystems (more brief info from ip world here). The Dutch District Court in the Hague had previously found the patent valid, contrary to the views of the High Court and Court of Appeal over here, and consequently found Conor to be infringing.

Conor apparently intend to appeal, so this is almost certainly not the end of the story.
