Tomb Raider caught in the act ... of TM filing
The IPKat has read in Eurogamer about how very coy computer games publisher Eidos has been, keeping quiet over suggestions that the new Lara Croft game will be called Tomb Raider: Underworld. Apparently the publisher was spotted filing a US trade mark for that name, spotted by the keen eyes of specialist monitoring site Trademork.
Says the IPKat, it's unbelievable how much useful commercial information is available on the trade mark register, the patent register and from other easy-access sites. Why is so little use made of them? Adds Merpel, given Ms Croft's fashion preferences, shouldn't it be Tomb Raider: Underwear?
