Are you a future leader?

The Intellectual Property Institute (IPI), London, is interested to hear from enthusiastic young industrialists, professionals and businessmen who may thinking of taking a more active part in the activities of the IPI – or for that matter of any other IP representative body – and who would like to hear a bit about what it entails. The IPI would also like to test the water and see whether there is any support for young members’ groups within the various IP communities, from which the next generation of Council Members, honorary officers, movers and shakers may be drawn. Accordingly an informal meeting has been organised for Tuesday 28 October, from 5pm to 7pm (with the possibility of socialising even afterwards).

If you’re interested, please turn up at the Old Nick, 20-22 Sandland Street, London, WC1R 4PZ (near Holborn and Chancery Lane tube stations), where some of the members of the Intellectual Property Institute Council will be in attendance. You can find the Old Nick here. To give some idea of numbers, if your're planning on attending can you let Jeremy know by emailing here. Warning: as presently advised, everyone has to buy their own drinks unless a generous sponsor is forthcoming -- though the IPKat is negotiating for some nibbles and sandwiches and may already have found a generous sponsor.

If you are interested but (i) can’t attend or (ii) would like to attend a similar event somewhere outside London if enough interest were expressed, email the IPI here and say so.
