Hello fellow security nuts! I have very exciting news! Richard Bejtlich, of the famous TaoSecurity, will be holding a special teaching seminar on Feb 16 and 17 in 2009 in Washington DC. It will be one of two classes, the other will be in Europe, in Amsterdam, on April 14 and 15. This meeting will teach you invaluable tools in anti-hacking. Students will learn how to detect signs of a break in, find out some counter-information about the hacker, how to re-enforce your system, and even how to force a hacker out and re-secure your network. It is suggested that attendees have some background in TCP/IP networking. After completing the 2 day class, you are given a certificate of completion; This holds decent weight in my opinion, as the teacher is a renown black hat. Unfortunately, the class costs upward to $3900 USD, for a 2 day seminar; I would love to attend, but I feel that is an unreasonable price.
