If you have a keen interest in data protection issues, you might want to take a look at Datonomy, a blog that has been quietly posting away since September of last year. Datonomy is still in its early infancy, but it expects plenty of action in the coming year on the regulatory, executive and litigation fronts. The cynical Merpel notes that the speed at which the public sector makes new rules and procedures for protecting personal data is only exceeded by the rate at which the public sector loses it.

Congratulations are due to another blog that has been quietly chugging along: IP Tango. Driven by a nine-person team, this bilingual (English/Spanish) blog -- which will be trilingual if it can find anyone to post on Brazilian IP matters in Portuguese -- brings news of legal and commercial developments throughout Latin America.  Last week IP Tango, which launched this June, received its 100th email subscriber. Well done!

Coming up to its first anniversary online, the IP Finance weblog has just received its 300th email subscriber. IP Finance has seven authors, spread across five countries, and it welcomes news and information concerning all and any developments at the point at which IP rights and money meet: valuation, securitisation, damages, royalties ...
