Canon presents "Color Palettes of Life" at Photofair 2011
Canon India has showcased its innovative technologies at India's largest photography exhibition, the Photo Fair 2011. The Canon Imaging zone spanning over 330 sq.m. was inaugurated by Alok Bharadwaj, Senior Vice-President, Canon India. The four-day exhibition brings together the entire photographic and Digital Imaging community at one platform, in order to increase its awareness on the digital revolution in photographic products.
Speaking on the occasion, Alok Bharadwaj, Senior Vice-President, Canon, India, said, "It is always exciting for Canon to be a part of any photography revolution to establish leadership and technology prowess. Our display of products in the Photofair speaks volumes of how customer choices are evolving, taking photography to the next frontier. Canon anchors growth in the photographic industry by registering 50% growth in revenue to close the year 2010 with 1257 crore." He further added, "Canon launched 100 new products including 38 camera models in 2010 which is a testimony to revolutionary technologies for photographic excellence."
At the exhibition, the company showcased the entire range of consumer products ranging from digital cameras, camcorders, DSLRs to printers. Based on the theme "Color Palettes of Life", the Canon booth was divided into eight zones.
