Nvidia unveils online 3D vision com, Tegra 2 powered phones and Project Denver Nvidia has announced a new Web community 3DVisionLive.com, which is dedicated to 3D content, enabling users to enjoy stereoscopic 3D videos and photos while using a 3D-enabled PC or notebook.

Through this online community, Nvidia 3D Vision technology users can create and share a broad range of 3D content on their PCs and stream 3D movie trailers, music videos, sport clips, and video shorts, as well as post and view high-quality, high-resolution 3D photos.

"The goal of 3DVisionLive.com is to create an online community where users can experience the best applications and content for 3D PCs," commented Phil Eisler, GM, 3D Vision.

NVIDIA has also announced the arrival of the next wave of super phones, powered by mobile super chip NVIDIA Tegra 2. These new super phones go beyond today's smartphones, delivering unprecedented multimedia experiences that take fuller advantage of faster network download speeds.

NVIDIA has also unveiled that it has plans to build high- performance ARM based CPU cores, designed to support future products ranging from personal computers and servers to workstations and supercomputers.

Known under the internal codename "Project Denver," this initiative features an NVIDIA CPU running the ARM instruction set, which will be fully integrated on the same chip as the NVIDIA GPU.

This new processor stems from a strategic partnership, in which NVIDIA has obtained rights to develop its own high performance CPU cores based on ARM’s future processor architecture. In addition, NVIDIA licensed ARM’s current Cortex-A15 processor for its future-generation Tegra mobile processors.
