IP: some golden opportunities

Ana Ramalho (what a lovely, musical name!) has written to inform the IPKat that there are some good openings for intellectual property researchers in the Netherlands. She write

"The IViR - Institute for Information Law, at the University of Amsterdam, is opening up some paid PhD positions in the field of information law. Preferred topics include 'Bilateralism and multilateralism in the law of international intellectual property", "Liability of Internet platform providers for copyright infringers", "Commercializing public sector information, competition and open data" and "Users as creators".

Meanwhile, from the IPKat's friend and fellow blogger Aurelia J. Schultz comes news that Creative Commons is offering a ten-week summer legal internship. The good news, if you are the lucky person for whom this position was made, reads thus: 

"The Creative Commons legal internship provides a law student interested in intellectual property with the unique experience of exploring copyright laws from around the world and potentially interfacing with our network of international legal experts. The internship will focus on international intellectual property law, particularly copyright law. Ideal applicants should have completed their second year of study at a top tier law school and have significant interest in and experience with IP, including experience at a law firm or other legal organization. Law students with a background in computer science are especially encouraged to apply. Later round candidates may be asked to provide a writing sample. The intern will be based at the Creative Commons headquarters in Mountain View, California, near Mozilla, Google, Stanford and a number of prominent IP law firms".
