Beetel to launch Tablet PC next month

Beetel Teletech will come out with a 7-inch tablet computer next month.

"It will have Android 2.2 Operating System. It will be sold at a very affordable price," Rahul Mahajan, Head of Mobile Business of Beetel Teletech, said.

Refusing to indicate likely price of the tablet, he said "The Company would roll out more tablets in the subsequent months. It would also launch Android and touch phones next month". The company would also set up exclusive retail outlets besides building a distribution network across the country."

The company, which sold 1.5 lakh mobiles a month, claimed would come out with two models every month this financial year.
