Asset, Reliability and Maintenance Management (ARMM) forum has organised the national conference on the state of ARMM in India on 15th & 16th September, 2011 in Lavasa at Hotel Mercure, International Convention Centre. ARMM Forum will also be unveiling an exclusive whitepaper on 'State of ARMM in India', based on a pan India survey conducted amongst maintenance professionals as well as the 'C' class executives in association with IMRB.

ARMM Conference is aimed at creating awareness about the need for organizations across sectors and geographies to adhere to the best practices of asset reliability and maintenance management. The themes for the conference will be downtime optimization, life cycle cost analysis; condition based maintenance, preventive & predictive maintenance and industrial case studies.

Sunil Kamerkar, Founder & Chairman, ARMM Forum said, "The Indian industry is currently losing crores of rupees due to C-level leadership turning a blind eye to the importance of plant machinery safety, reliability & maintenance. About 50% companies in India don't have or don't use a maintenance work planning system. This has resulted in severe tragedies such as Fukushima, Bhopal gas tragedy in the past. Keeping this in mind, we have founded ARMM forum, a community formed to create a platform where maintenance and reliability engineers can express their concerns and learn from experts. ARMM conference 2010 was like raising curtains from the present problems in the maintenance industry. We have learnt from our past experience and are back with better elucidation. I am confident that the two day conference will be an eye opener to the top level management but it will also make the professionals aware of the problems prevalent in the maintenance industry."
