Infosys intros InfyRadio for staff
Infosys has introduced a radio station viz. InfyRadio, exclusively for its staff. InfyRadio is currently running as an experiment in Bangalore, will be launched on other Infosys campuses in the next three months.
The radio service is to run for six hours a day, five days a week and will be a combination of music (Hindi/English), RJ Talk, Infosys-related communication, leadership interviews, song requests as well as interactive contests. The initiative is to involve employees and some celebrity guests in the running of this station, claimed HR sources. There is a special Web site for the radio station, where employees can request songs, participate in contests, download the InfyRadio jingle as well as provide feedback about the shows.
Nandita Gurjar, Executive VP & Global Head of HR, Infosy shared, “Employees just need to download an application on their iPod and other handheld devices and listen to music on demand.”
