AirLive introduces a Wireless Router, Air3G II
AirLive has introduced AirLive Air3G II, a wireless router which offers either 4G (LTE) or 3G (CDMA/HSPA/HSPA+) connectivity. Therefore, in some countries, Air3G II can replace the original ADSL and cable modem.
AirLive Air3G II supports Smartphone tethering. It is a method to share the Internet connection of an Internet-capable mobile phone via USB data cable connected to Air3G II. Thus, it can connect more than 20 notebooks, tablet PC or other Smartphone using Wi-Fi and also provide a broadband speed connection.
This model enables users to create a secure wireless network and provide access to the Internet using a cellular signal. The Air3G II operates on Wireless N standard and is backward compatible with B/G. It supports NAT, routing, firewall, DHCP server, and more. It is managed easily by web User Interface and there is UPnP and set-up wizard. SPI (stateful packet inspection) firewall is embedded in the product. It keeps track of the state of network connections and provides protection from network attacks.
Additionally, a WAN port is provided for sharing ADSL or Cable Modem connection. The WAN and 3G auto backup function will auto switch between WAN or 3G when one of the connections fails.
