Canon brings new EOS-1D X
Canon India Pvt. Limited has rolled out its flagship DSLR EOS-1D X aimed at professionals. Accompanying the EOS-1D X are two new accessories to further expand the professional EOS System: the WFT-E6 wireless file transmitter and GP-E1 GPS receiver. EOS-1D X is to be available for sale in April 2012.
The EOS-1D X features a newly developed 18.1MP Full Frame CMOS sensor with greater per-pixel quality than before and a standard ISO range of 100 to 51200. The brand new 61-point High Density Reticular Auto Focus (AF) system and wider frame coverage is another highlight adding a dimension in flexibility to the focusing system. The new 100,000-pixel RGB Metering Sensor, leads to greater accuracy. The EOS-1D X is lightning fast, with dual DIGIC 5+ processors providing the power to process full-resolution images at up to 14 frames per second (mirror lockup shooting), while also performing more operations on the images than was previously possible.
