Daawat Foods selects IBM Systems and Storage for business critical ERP implementation
IBM has announced that Daawat Foods has chosen IBM Power Systems and storage to run its business critical ERP implementation. The advanced systems claim to provide enhanced performance and compliment the company's business growth goals of lowering overall IT operating costs. Daawat Foods has recently installed the SAP ERP application to automate their mission critical processes. The hardware needed to be robust, and scalable to accommodate their future growth. IBM's solution offered better Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) along with a comparatively lower power and cooling requirements.
Vikram Patil, IT Head, Daawat Foods said, "IBM provided the best combination of price, performance and technology leadership. IBM's solution ensures that we can do more with less, by offering superior performance, better energy efficiency and reduced software licensing costs."
"Daawat is a perfect example of IBM's commitment to help organizations build scalable business infrastructure that allows them to become more resilient and better positioned for growth. This win reaffirms the confidence that clients have on AiX and reiterates the value that our POWER 7 systems bring to the table for our clients," said Jyothi Satyanathan, VP, ibm.com, Mid Market Sales Organisation, IBM India /South Asia.
IBM partnership with CCS played a key role in leading this solution. The contract was signed in August 2011.
