Delhi HC instructs Google & Facebook to obey Laws of India

The Delhi High Court has threatened Google and Facebook to abide and arrange a mechanism to check disagreeable content, or they just might be banned in the country. This was done following Google India's petition in the Delhi High Court claiming that it does not execute any matter over content on Google, Blogspot, YouTube, or Orkut in India, and thus can't be summoned to an Indian court in a criminal case against it related to unpleasant images.

The High Court has arranged the case for hearing on January 16, 2012.
