Samsung joins One-Blue Licensing Program
One-Blue has announced that Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. (Samsung) has joined the One-Blue product licensing program as a licensor. Samsung is believed to be a major contributor to the development of the Blu-ray Disc standard and joins current licensors Cyberlink, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Hitachi, JVC Kenwood, LG Electronics, Panasonic, Philips, Pioneer and Sony.
Roel Kramer, CEO, One-Blue said, "We are very pleased that Samsung has joined our licensing program as a licensor. Samsung has made significant contributions to the Blu-ray Disc standard and therefore adds valuable essential patents to the program.
