NEC, Wyless explores M2M service opportunities
NEC Corporation and Wyless Inc. have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to form a strategic alliance to explore end-to-end M2M service opportunities.
Under this agreement, NEC will promote Wyless' advanced management software "Porthos" to mobile network operators and enterprises worldwide. In addition, NEC will add "Porthos" to its enhanced M2M CONNEXIVE solutions. This converged solution enables mobile network operators and enterprises to maximize user experience while minimizing their operating costs and optimizing their revenue from rapidly increasing M2M connectivity services. Furthermore, in return, Wyless will promote NEC's M2M CONNEXIVE solutions to its customers.
