Upgraded Aakash to release in May

Human Resources Development Minister Kapil Sibal has now announced that the launch of Aakash version II might get delayed by a month in May instead of April.

Kapil Sibal said, "We are in the testing stage and the commercial production of Aakash 2 has not yet commenced. Aakash version II will be tested and it is only when we feel that the quality is superior and the children can accept it, that we will launch it commercially."

The allocation for Aakash has been made under the National Mission for Education through ICT of Ministry of Human Resource and Development.
