AirLive has revealed the newest generation of all-in-one wireless 5GHz CPE build on 802.11 A/N standard Airlive AirMax 5N. Besides this model, Airlive also designed model AirLive AirMax 5N-ESD which includes 8KV ESD (electrostatic discharge) protector.

With the integrated directional antenna and high performance 150Mbps 11n radio, the AirMax5N/AirMax5N-ESD can reach long distance using the built-in antenna. AirMax5N/AirMax5N-ESD is also equipped with R-SMA connector. System Integrator simply connects a hi-gain external antenna to the R-SMA port. After this step, he can choose the CPE to use vertical, horizontal, or external antennas from the web interface.

Furthermore, AirMax5N/AirMax5N-ESD is packed with long distance radio function that provides longer distance and better signal than the competition. The AirMax5N/AirMax5N-ESD can function as an AP, Client, WDS, WDS Repeater, Gateway or WISP. Therefore, user can instantly transform the CPE to different wireless applications.
