SAP to Settle Download Lawsuit

SAP is believed to pay Oracle $306 million in damages to settle the companies' long-running copyright infringement suit. As per the terms of the settlement, in addition to the $306 million settlement, SAP is said to pay Oracle's legal costs in the lawsuit.
Dorian Daley, General Counsel, Oracle said, “SAP, which admitted infringement before the 2010 trial and pled guilty to a number of criminal charges brought by the U.S. Department of Justice after trial, must pay us a minimum of $426 million, including attorneys’ fees.”
