Cisco makes fourth acquisition in a month

Seems, the networking giant Cisco in an acquisition spree. According to latest information, Cisco is all set to acquire BroadHop which is a developer of network management servers and software for carriers. If reports are to be believed, the latest BroadHop buy-out would be Cisco's fourth acquisition in December month.
Formed in 2003, BroadHop provides policy control and service management for mobile and fixed carrier networks.
Post acquisition, BroadHop will be integrated into Cisco's Service Provider Networking Group. It will report to Shailesh Shukla, Vice President and General Manager of the company's Software and Applications Group....See More
