Dell India working on "Green IT" Solutions

Dell(NASDAQ) has launched 16 electronics recycling collection points (ERCPs) for consumers across 13 cities in India. These collection points will be located at the existing Dell Carry-In Service (CIS) centres to encourage the responsible disposal and recycling of any brand, through a Dell-approved environmental partner. Each centre will house electronics collection bins that consumers can use to drop off their non-working electronics.

The ERCP are an extension of Dell’s global free recycling programme that aims to provide free and easy recycling for consumers, keep environmentally sensitive materials out of landfills, enable materials to be recycled or reused, and help conserve natural resources – part of Dell’s commitment to put technology and expertise to work where it can do the most good for people and the planet.....See More
