some basics abt rooting and wat is rooting??

  •  What Is Rooting..

"Rooting" your device means obtaining "superuser" rights and permissions to your Android's applications.

  • What is BootLoader:?

     Every Android phone has a bootloader that instructs the operating system kernel to boot normally. Since Android OS is an open source OS and is available on a variety of different hardware, every manufacturer has their own version of bootloader specific for the hardware present in it’s environment. The bootloader is usually locked on most Android devices because although it’s an open source OS, still the manufacturers want you to stick to their Android OS version specifically designed for the device. In order to apply this concept, manufacturers lock the bootloader. With a locked bootloader on Android devices, it is virtually impossible to flash a Custom ROM and forced attempts void warranty as well as usually end up in bricks. Therefore, the first step is to always unlock the bootloader.

    Requirements:

  • Unlock Root works only on Windows computers. You will need a computer running Windows 7/Vista/XP.
  • Install the USB drivers for your device before you use Unlock Root. You can usually download the drivers from your device manufacturer’s website. Or, if you received a driver CD together with your device, install the drivers using the installer on the CD.

Instructions::

  •    Install the USB drivers for your device before you use Unlock Root (or you can skip this step, Windows OS can install driver for most devices). You can usually download the drivers from your device manufacturer's website. Or, if you received a driver CD together with your device, install the drivers using the installer on the CD.

  •   Enable USB Debugging mode on your device. You can do this by going to Settings > Applications > Development on your device.
  • Connect your device to your PC via USB cable.
  •   Run Unlock Root. Click "ROOT" button and wait for your handset to be automatically detected.
  •   Choose your device from the list of auto-detected devices.
  •   Rooting start.
  • 8. Wait for it to complete rooting, after which you'll be greeted with a message on the left bottom saying your device has been successfully rooted and prompt you to install Battery Saver application.
  • 9. After the rooting process, simply reboot your device for the changes to take effect.

Congratulations! You have successfully rooted your device. You can check whether or not you have root access by locating the Superuser app on your device or installing an app that requires root access.
