Su-Kam signs an MoU with Tata Power Delhi Distribution

Dhananjay Sharma, GM - Solar Business, Su-Kam, said, "Against its highest peak demand of 5,642 MW in 2012, Delhi produces only 1,345 MW, out of which 55% is coal-based. Localized renewable generation can reduce this shortfall. As part of a larger move of escalating its ongoing energy conservation programme, Su-Kam is also sensitive to the aspect of Climate Change and is committed to introduce energy-efficient and greener technologies in its offices and manufacturing units. Su-Kam Power Systems Limited and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (TPDDL) have reportedly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), under which subscribers and employees of TDPPL can avail exclusive discounts on Su-Kam's Solar PV modules, roof top solar systems and other solar power backup solutions.
