Gajj is an open source Linux Operating System which is based on Ubuntu and Linux Mint Distributions. Gajj is an academic project to motivate students and beginners towards Linux. Gajj is a Sanskrit word (Sanskrit : गजः ), which means Elephant, the name was choosen to match the heavily loaded operating system which makes bulky and strong as an elephant. Gajj aims to provide pre-bundled software packages to students who may find it difficult to find and install proper softwares and utility applications. It includes almost all the softwares needed by a Student for academic as well as other Multimedia and Recreational applications.
