Google Offers $10K Bounties for Chrome Extensions, Ups Patch Rewards
Google has been very proactive when it comes to offering bug bounties to vulnerability-hunters, having paid out more than $2 million since launching the program a little over two years ago. It has also consistently tweaked its programs as the security threat surface demands, and accordingly has now widened the net to include vulnerabilities in all Chrome apps and extensions developed and branded as "by Google."
