Edward Snowden Says, Yes i Was Trained As Spy And Worked Undercover to NBC interview. This is the second television interview of Edward Snowden and first for American television taken by Brian Williams who is the Managing editor of NBC Nightly News.
Snowden is a former systems administrator for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and a counterintelligence trainer at the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), he later went to work for the private intelligence contractor Dell, inside a National Security Agency (NSA) outpost in Japan.

He came to attention in last year after disclosing NSA confidential documents. After that he decided to left the country. In the interview he said, 

“I was trained as a spy in sort of the traditional sense of the word, in that I lived and worked undercover overseas — pretending to work in a job that I’m not — and even being assigned a name that was not mine."
“But I am a technical specialist. I am a technical expert,” he said. “I don’t work with people. I don’t recruit agents. What I do is I put systems to work for the United States. And I’ve done that at all levels from — from the bottom on the ground all the way to the top.” 
Snowden said in the interview to Brian Williams.
