New version of JabirOS available.


JabirOS 2.0.0 was released.

"The base system is originally forked from FreeBSD 10-RELEASE, this version of FreeBSD came with a lot of new features, which are included in JabirOS, too. pkg2ng pkg isn't installed as a default package, but you can install it like FreeBSD by typing pkg on command line. Jabir Project, started in year 2012 by Muhammadreza Haghiri and Reza Bagherzadeh, as a school project for Khawrazmi Festival in Iran. After a while, Mohammad Esmaili has joined this project, and this project became a professional and serious one. First, JabirOS was based on Ubuntu, after a while, core team has decided to change the base, and JabirOS was a FreeBSD based operating system. JabirOS is now an independent BSD variant.
