Nokia Buys 3D Geolocation Solution From Nice System


Nokia Networks invests in mobile network multivendor optimization; buys a 3-D Geo location solution from NICE Systems. NOKIA want to improve their geolocation technology service.

3 July, 2014 Espoo, Finland - Nokia Networks announced today that it has bought a broad solution for advanced geolocation* capabilities from NICE Systems (NASDAQ: NICE) to enhance the planning and optimization of mobile networks.  Nokia Networks gains access to tools, technical expertise, and the right to further develop these capabilities.  
Geolocation uses three dimensional modelling aimed at delivering unparalleled accuracy of network performance for multivendor networks.  We believe that when combined with Nokia's services expertise, this technology helps to provide deep insight into traffic trends and the performance of mobile broadband networks.
