Sony Xperia Z3 gets certified in China
Sony Xperia Z3 had already surfaced in live images. Specifications of the global variant of the Xperia Z3 (D6653) showed up last month. Now the Xperia Z3 L55t for China Mobile and L55u for China Unicom have been certified by TENAA. This reveals the dimensions of the smartphone as 146.5×72.4×7.35mm and weight as 158.4g. This makes it smaller and lighter than the company's current flagship, the Xperia Z2. It also shows the rounded sides, dedicated camera shutter button and ports under a flap, which indicates that it is likely to be water resistant with IP55/IP58 certification . Further, it confirms the specifications of the smartphone. It will come with a 5.2-inch 1080p display, 2.5GHz quad core Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor, Android 4.4 KitKat, 20.7-megapixel camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, microSD card slot, Bluetooth, FM Radio, WiFi and GPS. The specifications are mostly similar to the Z2 and there is a slight design change. Sony has already teased its upcoming products ahead of its IFA 2014 event on September 3rd. It is also expected to unveil Xperia Z3 compact, Sony SmartWatch 3 (SW3) and QX30 smartphone camera lens. Source | Via
