How-to install UBUNTU 14.04 on Software RAID 0 plus unity, gnome, lxde, kde, and xfce desktop

In this video i am going to show you how-to install Ubuntu 14.04 on Software RAID0 plus a desktop unity, gnome, lxde, kde, or xfce note that you will nead a cd , dvd or a usb pen drive with the ubuntu server installer and at least two hard drives of the same size.

Commands

You will nead a cd , dvd or a usb pen drive with the ubuntu server installer and 
at least two hard drives of the same size.

Choose your language

Choose your location

Keyboard configuration

Choose your hostname

Create your user account

Clock configuration

Select Manual

Select the first Hard drive

Create the partition for the swap array on the first Hard drive 

Create the partition for the system array on the first Hard drive 

Select the second Hard drive

Create the partition for the swap array on the second Hard drive 

Create the partition for the system array on the second Hard drive 

Create the swap array

Create the system array

Set the first array as a SWAP area

Set the file system and the mount point for the second array

Finish partitioning and write changes to disk

Set proxy settings if needed

Select install security updates automatically

Select continue

Install the grub boot loader

Reboot

To install the unity desktop (Ubuntu desktop)
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop

Install and reboot

To install the gnome desktop (Ubuntu gnome)
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-gnome-desktop

Install and reboot

To install the LXDE desktop (Lubuntu)
sudo apt-get install lubuntu-desktop

Install and reboot

To install the KDE desktop (Kubuntu)
sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop

Install and reboot

To install the XFCE desktop (Xubuntu)
sudo apt-get install Xubuntu-desktop
Install and reboot
