Windowck Plugins in Xubuntu
Windowck is a new open source project, developed by the developer of XFCE, which aims to maximize the space available for the windows by simply integrating the title bar in the panel. As for Unity, Windowck Plugins allows us to maximize the space available for the windows when they are maximized by removing the title bar and window buttons in the panel of integrating XFCE.
The project Windowck Plugins is still under development, it works already quite common although currently requires maximus tool to remove the title bar when the windows are maximized (in the future should automatically remove the title bar of the preferences of the plugin).

After seeing how to install Windowck Plugins in Xubuntu, compiling it from source, in this article we will see how to install and maintain thanks to the plugin developer PPA maintained by St. Eugene.

To install Plugins Windowck in Xubuntu 14.04 and later just type in a terminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:eugenesan/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xfce4-windowck-plugin
and confirm. Alternatively, we can install the plugin Windowck only downloading the package from this page.

Once you install the plugin, just go to the panel and with the right mouse button go to Panel -> Add new item and we'll Window Header Header Window Buttons and Title ready to be included in our panel.

To remove the title bar of the windows when they are maximized, we need to install and activate the tool maximus by typing in a terminal:
sudo apt-get install maximus
--set gconftool-2 / apps / maximus / no_maximize --type bool = true
At this point we will have the title bar of the windows off when they are maximized.

To remove Windowck Plugins, Maximus and restore XFCE as default just type:

sudo apt-get remove xfce4-windowck-plugin maximus
--set gconftool-2 / apps / maximus / no_maximize --type bool = false
and we end the session or restart the deployment.
Windowck Plugins is also available for Arch Linux and derivatives via AUR.
