Linux Games : GZDoom 2.0.03 released , Install On Linux Ubuntu, Mint and Debian

This is a Doom source port based on ZDoom. It features an OpenGL renderer and lots of new features, among them: - 3D floors - Dynamic lights - Quake2/Unreal style skyboxes - True color texture support - Model support (limited at the moment)

A new version is available. This is a bugfix release and fixes two problems of recent versions:

- wiping the screen caused parts of the level not to be rendered
- texture scaling was broken

To Install Game GZDoom 2.0.03 on linux ubuntu, mint, debian and derivative systems ,open terminal and follow this command :

wget http://archive.getdeb.net/ubuntu/rpool/games/g/gzdoom/gzdoom-freedoom_2.0.03-1~getdeb1_all.deb

Install On 32 bit

wget http://archive.getdeb.net/ubuntu/rpool/games/g/gzdoom/gzdoom_2.0.03-1~getdeb1_i386.deb
sudo dpkg -i gzdoom_*.deb
sudo apt-get install -f
sudo rm -rf  gzdoom_*.deb

Install On 64 bit

wget http://archive.getdeb.net/ubuntu/rpool/games/g/gzdoom/gzdoom-freedoom_2.0.03-1~getdeb1_all.deb
wget http://archive.getdeb.net/ubuntu/rpool/games/g/gzdoom/gzdoom_2.0.03-1~getdeb1_amd64.deb
sudo dpkg -i gzdoom_*.deb
sudo apt-get install -f
