The portal Netmarketshare has released the data for the month of August 2014 in which we find a slight decrease in Linux user surfing the web.

We have reported the data reported by the portal NetMarketShare, which monitors web traffic statistics releasing both global or targeted for businesses, industry and so on.
According to data recently released by NetMarketShare, in August 2014, users who surf the net with Linux dropped slightly in July compared going from 1.68% to 1.67%. Windows is still the most used operating system in the world with 91.58%, while the second place we find Apple Mac with 6.74% in continuous decline (in January 2014 was at 7.66%).

When it relates to web browsers are Microsoft Internet Explorer in the first place (58.46%) followed by Google Chrome (19.61%) and Mozilla Firefox (15:23%).
To signal the decline of the Firefox user, according to data provided by NetMarketShare the open source browser Mozilla has risen from 18.2% in the month of January 2014 to the current 15:23% (percentage, however, a slight increase compared to the month of July) .
Also drop the user using Chrome which have passed from 20:37% in July to 19.61% in August, remain stable users who use Internet Explorer to browse.
