p300 in Ubuntu Among the most widely used software Linux users not only to synchronize files and directories between PCs find BitTorrent Sync. BitTorrent Sync is a multi-platform software that exploits the quality of P2P technology to be able to quickly and easily synchronize your files and directories bookmarks between different computers and mobile devices, all without using any central server or cloud storage service. Features are very similar in the p300 interesting open source software that allows us to chat, send and synchronize files and directories between different PCs connected to the same local area network through P2P technology.

p300 has an integrated HTTP server with which we can manage the downloading / sharing of multiple files through a simple and intuitive web interface, there is also the possibility of limiting the bandwidth (useful for VPN connections). With support for IP Multicast and IP Broadcast (UDP), the software is able to automatically detect p300 other hosts on the local network (we can also manually add some hosts), also has an integrated chat and support for WebDAV that allows to be able to access files and directories that are shared directly from our file manager.
