RSS Owl is a powerful application to organize, search and read your RSS, RDF & Atom news feeds in a comfortable way. Highlights are saved searches, google reader sync, notifications, filters, fast fulltext search and a flexible, clean user interface.

RSSOwl can be used on all major platforms like Windows, Linux (32 Bit and 64 Bit) and Apple Mac OS X. You can even run it as plugin inside Eclipse.

RSSOwl is available in many languages including English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Traditional Chinese and Chinese Simplified.
Google Reader Synchronization With RSSOwl it is easy to keep your list of subscriptions and articles synchronized with your Google Reader account. Every feed that is synchronized will keep its article unread state, labels and starred state in sync with RSSOwl.

How To Install RSSOwl 2.2-1 in Linux Ubuntu (12.04, 12.10, 13.04, 13.10, 14.0, 14.10), mint (14,15,16,17) and debian derivative system, open a new Terminal window and bash (get it?) in the following commands:

For Linux System 32 bit :

sudo dpkg -i rssowl_2.2.1-1~getdeb1_i386.deb
sudo apt-get install -f
sudo rm -rf rssowl_2.2.1-1~getdeb1_i386.deb

For Linux System 64 bit :
