App Grid 0.199, New Software Center for Linux Ubuntu and Mint
App Grid is an open source project that aims to bring in Ubuntu and a full, light and modern software center. The idea of App Grid project is to provide a viable alternative to Ubuntu Software Center providing a solution faster and lighter, with a graphical interface modern and especially with a very simple and intuitive user experience. A few days ago the new version of App Grid 0199, a major update that brings with it support for Ubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn and derivatives.
In addition to bug fixes, App Grid 0.199 improves the management of the database by reducing the size by 33%, all this leads to a slight increase in searches, it also improves indexing application (according to the developer is faster than 25%).

To install App Grid 0.199 in Linux Ubuntu (14.10, 14.10), mint and debian derivative system using ppa, open a new Terminal window and bash (get it?) in the following commands:
