Gambas 3 3.6.2 is released, Available PPA for Linux Ubuntu 14.10, 14.04, 12.04 based distro

Gambas 3 is the next generation Gambas development environment based on a BASIC interpreter with object extensions, such as Visual Basic. It is, before all, an open source BASIC language with object extensions. The program includes native functions that allow developers to manage strings, arithmetic, time, input-outputs and files.

It is a completely free and complex program that comprises of several programs, including a compiler, an archiver, an interpreter, a development environment, a scripter, numerous extension components and a feature rich graphical user interface.

What's New in This Release:

• NEW: Improve Cygwin System Information awareness.
• BUG: Control properties containing a database table name can be modified again.

To install Gambas 3 3.6.2 on Ubuntu 15.04 vivid Vervet, ubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn, Ubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr (LTS), Ubuntu 13.10/13.04/12.04, Linux Mint 17.1 Rebecca, Linux Mint 17 Qiana, Linux Mint 13 Maya, Pinguy OS 14.04, Elementary OS 0.3 Freya, Elementary OS 0.2 Luna, Peppermint Five, Deepin 2014, LXLE 14.04, Linux Lite 2.0, Linux Lite 2.2 and other Ubuntu derivative systems, open a new Terminal window and bash (get it?) in the following commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:gambas-team/gambas-daily
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install gambas3
