LG G Flex 2 with 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor goes official

LG has officially unveiled its second generation Flex smartphone at its dedicated Consumer Electronics Show press conference in Las Vegas. LG G Flex 2 is the first smartphone to feature the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with octa-core 2.0GHz CPU under the hood. Apart from spectacular hardware configuration, the device comes with the combination of G3’s practical design and original G Flex’s dynamic curves. Just like the first generation G Flex its successor also sports a self-healing back panel. While the original model came out with a 6-inch 720p panel, the G Flex 2 has a much smaller 5.5-inch display, but its resolution has been bumped to 1080p. LG has used its plastic OLED screen, which is similar to the one on the G Watch R. There is a layer of Gorilla Glass 3 for protection against scratches and minor sniffs. LG G Flex 2 measures 149.1 x 75.3 x 7.1 – 9.44mm (at the thinnest and thickest spots respectively).
