Step 1: first of all you need to enable debugging on your android phone,here you have three ways to do it according to different android os version.

• 1) for android 2.3 or earlier: Enter settingapplication"development"usb debugging"

• 2)for android 3.0 to 4.1 : Enter setting developer option<usb debugging

• 3) for android 4.2 or newer : in this version of android debugging mode is hide so first Enter "setting" <about phone" build number"  for several times until getting a note you are under developer mode<setting<developer option usb debugging .
