Kubuntu Team Announced Testing On 15.10 Alpha 2 Pre Release Version Available Now
Alpha 2 build of Kubuntu 15.10 (Wily Werewolf) includes the latest KDE Frameworks 5 software. 15.10 version will releasing on 22nd October.
Kubuntu comes with KDE Applications 15.04 containing all your favourite apps from KDE. This is the 15.04.1 update with bugfixes and translation updates.
Non-KDE applications include LibreOffice 4.4 and Firefox 38.
Known Bugs For Kubuntu 15.10 Problems
- use_libarchive_for_zip_files causes problems
- desktop folderview needs to be added on first boot on oem installs
- Port kubuntu_langpack_desktop_files.diff for .desktop gettext support
- Apport-kde crash when reporting bugs
- accounts kcm can not change user's password because kdepasswd is missing
- kde-config-telepathy-accounts package install error
Development of Kubuntu 15.10, the Wily Werewolf, is ongoing and bugs are fixed every day.

This is Alpha 2 Release. Kubuntu Alpha Releases are NOT recommended for:
- Regular users who are not aware of pre-release issues
- Anyone who needs a stable system
- Anyone uncomfortable running a possibly frequently broken system
