The Paris Attacks Could Lead Law Enforcement to Crack Down on Encryption Apps
Responsibility for the Paris attacks were claimed by way of Telegram, a Russian-made app that encrypts messages. The service has a reported 60 million monthly active users and sends 12 billion messages a day. Siri, Apple’s Personal Assistant, Leaks Personal Data
A potential opening for abuse in Siri-equipped iOS mobile devices allows anyone to use voice recognition to access data on a device, even with a passcode. There are several threads on Apple support forums about this ever since Siri was introduced.
