India to witness more than 11,500 start-ups ecosystem by 2020
With India becoming growing start-up ecosystem country, the numbers are telling – from 3,100 start-ups in 2014 to a projection of more than 11,500 by 2020. This is certainly not a passing trend.
Venture capital investments in India reached INR15,600 crore (US$2,363) till June 2015, surpassing the total INR14,850 crore (US$2,250) invested in the entire 2014, setting the stage for another record year as interest in local technology start-ups peak.
