Apple vs FBI: War of Privacy

Apple's Inc has grabbed the attention of whole world; when it rejects the US court order in name of its user security. Apple's CEO has already defended the decision to fight against the FBI and US Court orders on hacking the San Berardino shooters iPhone 5c.

The company is standing firm on their stance that will not jeopardize the security of their users and decision is taken because of the greater good of their customer's security. Now Apple has posted a new FAQ page on their official website; to get their users response on the ongoing war between the two most powerful entities in US.

The war of words between the two has grabbed the world attention now. Everybody knows that government agencies like NSA are spying on their own citizens and with providing them encryption like these a user privacy and security cannot be assured. The iPhone in question may well contains the information about larger terrorist groups.

This new FAQ web page is another tactic of the company to tell the world; what's the reasons behind their stance. Apple faced some major criticism after its stance, but many have appreciated the bold step company has taken against government. This is a war which can be won by public support and Apple Inc. is looking for all the support they can get.

Apple today also called for expert panel commission which can discuss the FBI's iphone unlocking demands. In response Apple Inc. says; "We feel the best way forward would be for the government to withdraw it demands under the All Writs Act and, as some in Congress have proposed, form a commission or other panel of experts on intelligence, technology, and civil liberties to discuss the implications for law enforcement, national security, privacy, and personal freedoms," further said; "Apple would gladly participate in such an effort."

According to Business Insider half of the US public think Apple should follow court orders unlock the terrorists iPhone. But those who are related to tech industry are backing Apple. Today's step may swing the pendulum in Apple's favor. Historically we have never seen an organization defeating the US government but we also have never seen a giant like Apple against US government, but none the less the world will discuss this war for many years.
