Kurds on Macedonia border talk about their plight in winter

Refugees based at this camp have been suffering from the bad winter weather and constant rain.

Lack of basic services including wash facilities and having only one toilet for 80 people has made life unbearable for the refugees.

At nights the migrants sit around the bonfire and sing songs to try and forget their daily hardships

These families' only hope is for the European Union to remove border fences and give them a chance to escape from this miserable situation.

Their ultimate hope is to one day get a place where they are safe and can rest.
