Upgrade to Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial Xerus, You can Move the Unity Launcher to bottom
Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, due to be released on 21 April 2016, is expected to include Unity 8 running natively on Mir. It will use systemd instead of Upstart as its init system. This release will replace the Ubuntu Software Center with the GNOME Software and eliminate Empathy and Brasero, from the ISO file. It is also planned that Ubuntu 16.04 LTS will move entirely from Python 2 to Python 3, which will require dropping or porting Python 2 packages.The desktop will be Unity 7 with Unity 8 optional. Snappy packages will be supported
n May 2015 Shuttleworth indicated that Ubuntu 16.04 LTS will likely include Unity 8 and Mir, but that users will have a choice of that or Unity 7 and X.org. He said, "Unity 8 will be an option for 16.04 and we'll let the community decide the default for 16.04.

If your ubuntu version is 15.10 and 15.04, please upgrade to ubuntu 16.04 Xenial Xerus (LTS)
Before you Move the Unity Launcher to bottom, update and upgrade, open terminal and follow the command :
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

At the moment of writing this article, we have no idea if Canonical will implement a visual setting in the Apperance -> Behaviour panel for users to easily switch between having the Unity Launcher on the left of at the bottom of the screen for the final release of Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, but you can do it by running the commands below.
How to Move the Unity Launcher to bottom :
gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Launcher launcher-position Bottom
How to Move the Unity Launcher to left :
gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Launcher launcher-position Left
