Russian Defence Ministry Concluded A New Contract with “Irkut” Corporation for Su-30SM Aircraft Deliveries

The Russian ministry of defense has awarded the Irkut aircraft company a contract to deliver “over” Su-30SM combat aircraft through 2018, which will substantially boost its air force’s capabilities. (UAC photo)
According to the conditions of the contract, the Russian Aerospace Forces are to receive over 30 multi-purpose fighters Su-30SM by the end of the year 2018.
The aircraft Su-30SM is a multi-purpose “4++”-generation highly-maneuverable fighter designed for achievement of air supremacy.
The complexes have been produced for the Russian Ministry of Defence since 2012.
