20 million thanks
This Kat first joined the IPKat blog in 2012: the following year, the blog celebrated its 10 year anniversary and passed 9 million page views on the page view counter (which can be seen on the sidebar). In 2014, the blog notched up 10 million page views. Now, only a couple of years further on, the 20 million milestone has now just been passed. The whole team is thrilled to reach this marker.
Now, more than ever, the blog is made possible by a large community including an extended team of permanent Kats, guest Kats, InternKats, other regular contributers and occasional guest post contributers, by which we endeavour to cover with some degree of balance the whole range of intellectual property and related topics. The blog continues only thanks to the efforts of those writing posts, our dear readers, and our valued commenters (who post comments on many of the blogposts). We continue to owe a huge debt to the wisdom and foresight of our beloved founder Jeremy Phillips for envisaging this enduring structure back when blogging was not a well established model for legal debate and commentary.
So our thanks from the IPKat and Merpel to all in the IP community who continue to read and support the blog.
